Lovehoney Deluxe Wand Couples Kit Review

My Review of the Lovehoney Deluxe Wand Couples Kit

Including Reviews of the Lovehoney Deluxe Wand, the Hummer & G-spot Pleaser Attachments and a Lockable Storage Case

Lovehoney Deluxe Wand in my hand

Lovehoney Deluxe Wand

This review is quite long as it’s for the Deluxe Wand Couples Kit which has four products in it designed for couples play. Great for using together or alone. The kit includes the Lovehoney Deluxe Wand, two wand attachments, The “Hummer Male Masturbator Wand Attachment,” masturbation sleeve and a “Lovehoney G-spot Pleaser,” gspot simulator. The fourth item is a Lovehoney storage case for the items. The Lovehoney Deluxe Wand is a newer take on their powered wand which is similar to the Hitachi Magic Wand but available in cords to suit other countries where the magic wand isn’t available.

Lovehoney Deluxe Wand Couples Kit

The Lovehoney Deluxe Wand Massage Wand Vibrator is a mains powered massager designed in the likeness of the Hitachi magic wand but with the bonus of having power cables suited to different regions depending on where you order from. You can buy the wand separately or in a kit with add on attachments and it comes in black and white. At around $150 on it’s own or $200 in the kit it’s well priced for a toy that will give you lots of use and hopefully last a long time.

The deluxe model is a newer model than the previous Lovehoney Wand which is bigger and has buttons instead of a dial. It is really large in size and gets quite heavy after awhile of holding it, although I imagine many people wouldn’t need to hold it for that long. The cord is 2.4meters allowing you a bit of room to move. You won’t ever need to buy batteries or charge it because it plugs straight in, depending on where you live you can order a power cord to suit your region. In places like Australia the original Magic Wand isn’t available so the Lovehoney Deluxe Wand is perfect for anyone wanting to try out the powerful ongoing vibrations of a wand.

The head is has a soft but firm Silicone coating and the handle ABS plastic, it’s also free of Phthalates and Latex free. I noticed after a long time of using it the silicone starts to soften and come away from the internal part of the head. That could be part of the reason it turns off automatically after about half an hour. The function of automatically switching off is also good for if you fall asleep during use, that’s if you can with the noise.

The vibrations can be quite intense and cover a large surface area which may not be what some people are used to if they like more direct clitoral stimulation, there is attachments that can help with that and provide internal or more focused vibrations. There’s 20 settings including 10 levels of vibration and 10 modes of various patterns and pulsations. The settings seem to me to change the actual feeling of the vibration, they feel more rumbly at the lower level and more buzzy as the level goes up.

The different levels and modes mix it up a bit. I’m not usually a fan of patterned modes but with the wand not only does it widely vary the type and intensity of vibration, it can also allow you to leave it in place without feeling too much. So, rather than lifting the pressure some of the patterns stop or slow it for you. Some modes make it feel much more powerful in the bursts of vibration too, you can hear the power as it stops and starts, some have short bursts of vibration and pauses in different rhythms, there’s heaps of settings to choose from and it was fun trying them all.

There’s 3 buttons one to turn it on and increase the vibration level, one to change the mode and one to reduce the level again and turn it off after it reaches the first setting. They can be difficult to find when in use so I got used to lining my three fingers up, spread apart a little bit until they aligned with the buttons otherwise I’d end up changing the pattern when I only wanted to increase or decrease the level.

The noise can be be a bit distracting. It is really loud compared to toys I’m used to and at times I found myself wondering if people outside could hear it. There is no doubt it is quite powerful, you can hear the power. The handle can vibrate noisily at times and I found I had to hold it a certain way to stop this.

It also gives a good massage, which was what the original wand was sold to do. You can use it on other area of the body such as shoulder blades and the lower back or even legs and arms, anywhere that feels good. It really is multi purpose and can be used by anyone of any gender, especially with the attachments which give it different uses altogether.

Initially I found it difficult to get used to, being more accustomed to using vibrators that provide targeted stimulation. After some experimenting with positioning and getting into the right frame of mind I was able to achieve orgasm. I found it took some time though, I don’t think everyone takes so long to climax with such a powerful vibrator, from what I’ve heard some people find it to be powerful enough they prefer to use it through clothing or a layer of fabric. I tried using it in this way and found that it worked through my normal clothes, sitting up was a good position to try it in allowing for it to be used in different angles.

The head being so wide means your partner can use it on you without having to search around for the right spot. Using it as a couple can bring another dimension to playing with your vibrator. It’s worth mentioning that it’s not really good for use during sex in a missionary position and it may take some adjusting to find a position that it can be used comfortably. Again the attachment may make it easier to do.

It’s advisable to use lots of water based lubricant when using the wand, with or without attachments, to help it feel more enjoyable and to avoid irritation. Afterwards be sure to clean it as soon as possible with warm soapy water or toy cleaner and allow to dry before storing, in the case if you buy the set. If you leave it you may find it harder to properly clean because of the crevices in the neck and joins in the handle.

The G-spot Pleaser

One of the attachments is the Lovehoney G-spot Pleaser it comes in the couples kit or separately. You can buy the attachments separately, both cost around $30each when not on sale. The G-spot Pleaser is made of silicone and the length of the insertable part is about 10 cm long. You pop the cup like part of it over the tip of the wand until it fits nice and snugly, on tight. Then you can use it as a normal vibrator only with the added size of the wand you need to take into account. The way they recommend doing it is to line the wand up with your body and use lubricant to slide it inside turning the handle onto more of an angle. If you follow what feels right you should be fine, to get more pressure on the G-spot you will probably want the wand on more of an angle.

While the G-spot attachment is labeled for internal use and g-spot stimulation I found it great for more direct clitoral stimulation. The head alone for me covers too much of a wide area, the G-spot Pleaser allows me to get the powerful vibrations of the wand where I want it both externally and internally. It is curved for stimulating the g-spot which some people will really appreciate. I find using it on the clit first makes it more enjoyable to use on the G-spot. It was fun moving it around and finding the spots that felt best and figuring out the right way to use it on my body.

As with all toys if you buy this one I suggest spending some time to get acquainted with it, try different positions, pressure and angles, test out the settings and give it a try before writing it off

Hummer Masturbation Wand Attachment

Wand attachments for couples kit
Wand Attachments

The Hummer Male Masturbation Sleeve can be purchased separately. It’s an masturbation sleeve attachment for penises made from the jelly like material TPE. It is important to keep it clean and dry before use for a longer life and to get the most out of it. There is a textured inner with ribbed lines on one end which is tighter and raised dots on the other end to give a different feeling when used each way. As with the G-spot attachments and any other wand add ons you put the open “cup” over the head of the wand and turn on to use. For the masturbation sleeve it’s best to have it in place before turning the wand on, in other words put the sleeve over the penis first. Use lots of lube and slide it over a hard penis for use, it stretches to help get it on.

My boyfriend had never used a sex toy like this one before, or any that were made to stimulate on the penis. He seemed to be a little freaked out at first but after relaxing a bit and feeling the sensations he was able to enjoy it more, especially after the first time using it. He tried both ways and agreed the lined, tighter end felt best when put on first. He tried it a few ways, with my help. First we tried using it as a masturbation sleeve and moving it up and down, with and without a hand around it. Another way he tried it was to leave it in place just over the start of the head with the majority of the sleeve covering the shaft, holding the wand with the vibration turned on. He tried experimenting with different modes.

The Hummer got the desired effect with him ejaculating after a short time, after the initial first use, so I can tell you that it works. You can see the sleeve moving when the wand is turned on, it vibrates and also moves side to side slightly so I imagine it would feel quite good even if it is a bit unusual for the first time user. I think it’s good to be able to have a toy you can share and that instead of only me having a toy my partner also has one now that he can use or we can use together, not at the same time though that would require some type of acrobatics.

The storage case

Black Case with Lovehoney Deluxe Wand inside
Wand in Case

I ended up with the Lovehoney Magic Wand Storage Case but I think the kit normally comes with a sturdy, hard case. The cases can be locked for safer more private storage, which I thought was a bonus. Both the soft and hard cases are good for storage. They’re long enough to fit the wand and have some pockets for keeping the attachments in. Allowing you to store them safely, cleanly and away from prying eyes. Like the other add ons, you can buy the storage case separately.

Together the Deluxe Wand Couples Kit kit makes a great couples toy pack and will provide hours of pleasure and fun for everyone. I would recommend buying the wand in the kit to allow for the extra uses the attachments help with, especially since I find direct clitoral stimulation preferable. Anyone who enjoys vibrators would find trying a wand worthwhile I think, they aren’t for everyone but the add ons can help them suit various needs. There is different attachments available to try as well as the two in the couples kit. By including a masturbation sleeve it allows the wand to be used by almost anyone.

I have heard wands are a good option for people with certain disabilities, for example injuries that affect sensation. For those with disabilities affecting their ability to reach the lower body easily it could also be an option due to the long handle. I have to say that I’m not a Doctor nor an expert in that field, so I’d advise doing a bit of research and speaking to a sex positive medical practitioner for advice and to see if it might be the right choice for you.

Overall I think wands are good for a wide range of people. Personally I like more direct clit stimulation so the attachments are great and I look forward to trying some others in future. If you decide to give it a try please buy through my link and use the code RISQUE10 for a 10% discount at

Sh! Bliss G Vibe Review

Sh! Bliss G Vibe Review

Getting my Bliss G Vibe

I was lucky enough to win a competition to celebrate a blogiversary from Isabelle Lauren’s blog late last year. I decided at the time I would review it, I’m glad I did. I’m a bit late writing the review but I finally got around to writing it here.

I really like the Bliss G-Vibe, it was pleasantly surprising. After looking into them more I would love to try other Sh! products. It would be great if I could have more to do with the company in general but being overseas is one obstacle. I’d love to review for them they’re a fantastic company.

About Sh!

Sh! is an award winning sex shop based in London with their shop the sh! Erotic Emporium. An online store is available at Sh! They Provide discreet and swift shipping to clients in the UK and internationally makes them accessible to anyone.

They describe themselves as a female focused pleasure store but they are more than that. Sex positive resources including online information and educational classes they run onsite. I wish I was closer to attend a class there is some really good ones covering a range of topics like bondage, seduction and orgasms.

I’ve found them to be a great, sex positive, women friendly store. They stock a great range of body safe quality toys for everyone. On top of that they’re very supportive of sex toy reviewers the community in general.

Their own range of Sh! products is available online and in-store as well as a variety of other trusted brands. Now let’s get to the review part.

Bliss G Vibe G Spot Vibrator
Bliss G Vibe

The Sh! Bliss G-vibe

This Bliss G-vibe is the first Sh! product I have used and it’s the first toy I’ve tried that is specifically aimed at internal g-spot stimulation. I’m glad I’ve now tried it because I am converted. With the Bliss G-Vibe I experienced some intense orgasms and thoroughly enjoyed using it even when I didn’t climax.

About the Sh! Bliss G-Vibe

The Sh! Bliss G-vibe is a small blue almost purple battery operated gspot type vibrator with a curved and rounded tip designed to stimulate the gspot.

It’s made from silicone and contains no pthalates, which is a good thing. For those with sensitivities, it’s also latex free.

The surface feels really smooth and the material is noticeably soft to touch. I thought it was more smooth than some silicone toys I have, it’s able to move around easily even with little to no lubricant it glides over skin easily. Firm enough to produce the desired pressure on the gspot, as the name suggests just where the Bliss G-Vibe is designed to aim for. The firmness isn’t hard so it’s not stiff there is some flexibility to help it fit comfortably and to your body shape. Some other vibes are too hard for my liking so to me the feeling of it is perfect.

Bliss G Vibe Size
Bliss G Vibe

Size wise it was pretty near perfect for me, the stem or shaft part for internal use is narrow and the tip is bulbous with a smooth rounded top. It’s a comfortable size that’s perfect for the purpose, gspot stimulation. It does its job quite well the tip is bent enough to get to the right spot and not too bent so it isn’t uncomfortable if you move it around or have it facing back or sideways.

Batteries are included with the Sh! Bliss G-Vibe, despite the box saying it didn’t. It only takes one AA battery. The battery lasts quite some time. Possibly because the vibration level isn’t really strong. Being more mild is better for internal stimulation, for me it is at least. The softer vibration also seemed to make it quieter to use so you can use it discreetly.

There is 10 settings the first 3 are levels of vibration strength the other 7 are patterned vibrations. I found the highest level best for external and liked some of the patterns for internal. It depends on you and personal choice which setting will work best. To change settings you press the button on the base and it goes up. To turn it off you have to go through all the settings before it stops that was one thing I found annoying about the G-Vibe.

It can still be used for clitoral stimulation even if that’s not the purpose of the G-Vibe. Being rounded and smooth on the tip makes it nice to use on the clit area and externally. The smoothness feels good and you can easily move it around or fit it over your clitoris. It’s good to use your vibe on different areas and move it around.

Usually I prefer clitoral stimulation and toys focusing on external vibration but I really like this toy, it’s nice to use and something different for me. Lately it’s become one of my go-to toys.

When it’s used together with clitoral simulator type toys, it can be pretty mind blowing. The first time I did and had an orgasm I was impressed, because I’d focused on both the gspot and clitoris the type of orgasm is different and much stronger. Arousing me so much I almost reached the point of ejaculation which isn’t something I generally experience.

Even without other toys, the Bliss G-Vibe alone impressed me and has converted me to gspot type vibrators. Using a mixture of movement, the sensation of the rounded end and bent tip mixed with vibration its enough to evoke arousal for most people. It’s the perfect tool to aid masturbation and take it to another level.

The button is on the base of it which I was worried would get in the way and I’d press it accidentally but I didn’t have any issues with that.
The mild vibration still provides enough feeling that you can use it externally. The rounded tip fits well on the clit and you can move it around or roll it for extra stimulation.

When inserting the Bliss G-Vibe it should have the bend faced forward, towards the front wall where the gspot is located. Move it around and allow for the pressure to get the right area you will most likely know when you’ve found. You can leave it to vibrate or move it to massage the gspot as well for a more intense feeling.

Use toy cleaner or warm soapy water to clean. Remember to be careful when washing around the battery area, although it is waterproof if the cap is on tightly. Store cleanly in a cool place as the package instructs and your Bliss Gvibe should give you a lot of pleasure. Water based lubricants are recommended, not oil or silicone based lubes.

As I have mentioned in other posts I find it hard to orgasm and usually enjoy focusing on a good amount of clitoral stimulation and some internal. The Bliss G-vibe aroused my gspot intensely and gave me intense orgasms especially when combined with external masturbation. Orgasms for me are hard to achieve but when I used the Bliss G-Vibe together with clitoral focused toys I had very strong orgasms. I think due to the pressure on my g-spot I found I produced more natural lubricant, I think I came close to ejaculation. I’m not used to gspot orgasms but I know they can have that effect. Continuing to explore internal and gspot orgasms will bring some fun times ahead.

iWand Enhanced Rechargeable Massager Review

I was really excited to get a wand, finally even though the iWand is more like a generic wand than a well known brand. I’ve wanted one for awhile after hearing all the hype about how great they are. When I first tried out my new iWand, I was a bit deflated. Having expected to get instant mind blowing orgasm when I didn’t the first time it was a let down. After giving it a real go, playing with it several more times, I was willing to give it another chance thinking maybe it wasn’t all bad.

You can see my review of a smaller personal massager here

The iWand is a big toy, the biggest I’ve used so far which felt a bit odd to start with then it became a bit of a novelty. Once I really got used to it I found the size to be a plus, enabling the vibration to stimulate a wider area. With lube the rounded head made of soft silicone slides around to wherever you want to feel it.

The iWand has 10 speeds or more accurately modes with different pulsations and two levels of constant vibration.

It’s made of 100% silicone and phthalate free which is a plus because it’s made from body safe materials, unfortunately not all toys are. Another feature I like about it is that it’s waterproof which is becoming pretty standard in rechargeable sex toys. Not only can you have fun in the shower or bath but it makes for easier cleaning.

Price and warranty

It also comes with a 1 year warranty which is good for any electrical product, especially sex toys which can set you back a bit financially. The iWand isn’t overly expensive mine was bought on clearance so it was cheap. I just had a look and they’re selling for anywhere between $25 and $80aud, a bargain really.Massage I found it worked well for massaging my lower back and other areas which hold tension. It was fun to play with, with my partner which we did a couple of times. The size is a real novelty factor which took a bit of getting used to.

This morning I had a back ache and used it before I had to go out, it got rid of the pain in no time.

Using the iWand

I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite toy but I’m glad I tried it out. After getting used to the size and how it works and feels, I was able to reach orgasm which I can’t always and don’t with all toys, so that’s a major positive. It does actually do what I purchased it to for.

I’m glad I have had an introduction into the world of wand vibrators and look forward to getting my hands on a quality brand wand one day so I can experience a more intense vibration and have more control over how strong the vibration is as most have more than two levels of strength. I love that its pink, it also comes in purple, both my favorite colors.

The price wasn’t too bad but I kind of wish I had saved up for a more well known brand of wand and probably a corded one for power. The cordless design gives you some freedom and flexibility but the power output isn’t the same when it’s not plugged into mains power.

It charges quite quickly, with 3 hours of charging giving you 3 hours of battehysicalry usage. I wish it could be used while it’s plugged in to mains power but it doesn’t allow for that so when it’s charging you just have to wait. My first impression of it is that it’s more of a novelty toy than a real wand vibrator. I guess I should have known it wouldn’t have the grunt of a mains power, plug in type wand.

Being rechargeable is a bonus most of the time but sometimes it doesn’t provide the power you need for the job, with a wand you really want that kind of intensity.

My overall final impression

The iWand makes for a novelty toy or good beginners wand so you can give one a try on a low budget.mI suggest thinking about saving the money and putting it towards a newer wand manufactured by a reputable well known company, many will come with a warranty so it’s worth some consideration.

The oomph of the vibration might be enough for some people or like for me it was enough sometimes. I would’ve liked to have more control over the level of vibration. It did do the job in the end so I can’t complain entirely. It’s not a terrible toy, but as I said earlier more of a novelty item.

For now, I am still awaiting the day I reward myself with a wand that is reputable and runs on mains power. Until then I’ll play with my iWand when the feeling takes me.

(Update: I got a Lovehoney Wand so I’ll be doing a review on that soon!)

Magic Touch Rapture Personal Massage Review

Magic Touch Rapture

Awhile ago I purchased a Magic Touch Rapture so I figured I’d do a review here. It’s a great toy for under $50AUD. It’s a rechargeable personal vibrating personal massager which can be used on all parts of the body externally, including for sexual stimulation for both men and women.

It’s a great option for those looking to buy a toy on a budget that can be used easily by couples. They come in two colours, pink and purple (both favourites of mine,) my Rapture is a beautiful bright purple which I love, I don’t feel like it has to be hidden away like some other toys.

One thing I really like about it other than the cool colours is the shape, which is a perfect fit for the pelvic are either to massage the clitoris or the perineum or all around that area, it can be used for penetration either vaginal or anal if you want to use it like that. The look of it doesn’t automatically make one think that it’s a sex toy which can be great if you have kids that want to snoop around your bedroom.

Vibration wise its not super strong but strong enough you can even get stimulation through your underwear or clothes which is great, it’s not super jet powered but it is about what you’d expect for the size and price. The shape of it fits perfectly in the palm of your hand for easy use and manoeuvrability. There is 7 different modes settings which change the level of vibration and the rhythm.

I am a big fan of rechargeable toys as anyone who reads my blog will know, so that’s another bonus for this massager. Given the intensity of it, the battery life lasts quite awhile. At least up to several hours. Long enough for most people to reach climax although if you’re like me and it can take days you’d want to make sure you have it charged and ready for use by plugging it in after each use.

Being made from body safe material is important, the Rapture is made of medical grade silicone. It’s perfect for couples as well as solo play. It’s really rather quiet too which is always a bonus for me, I haven’t yet tested the noise levels but in a normal house it’s unlikely anyone in another room would be able to hear it and if they could and do come in it looks like a massager so you don’t have to feel embarrassed about it, you can say you were giving your shoulders a rub.

Magic Touch is quickly becoming a favourite brand of mine for innovative cost-effective toys that anyone can afford. I found this toy fun to play with and a bit of a novelty. I especially like using it with my partner during sex as it fits perfectly between us without getting in the way too much.

I wasn’t able to climax with the toy alone but I am extremely difficult to please and find it really hard to have an orgasm. It did help make sex more enjoyable which for me is about all I usually expect, i a toy can make me cum that makes it really special. Most people I’d imagine would find the vibration from this toy strong enough.

  • Cost, cheap
  • Colors are great
  • Rechargeable
  • Made from body safe silicone
  • Waterproof
  • Relatively quiet
  • Shaped inconspicuously
  • 7 modes
  • Shape again because it fits so well around the pelvic region and down to the perineum.

  • Vibration is strong but not overly intense
  • I’m not sure how long the lifespan of the product would be I have had it for 6 months and it’s still going strong
  • Won’t suit everyone for penetration

Magic Touch Sensor Bullet Review

I bought myself a Sensor Bullet the other day after being shown the touch function in the shop. I straight away wanted to try it out at home and decided I had to get it. I and was surprised at how powerful the little vibrator is. One of the first things I was impressed with when I opened the packaging was it comes with its own velvet drawstring bag for safe storage.

Magic Touch Sensor Bullet, Charger and Storage Bag

The really unique thing about this little toy is that is has a touch more which operates on touch and heat sensors, meaning it only vibrates when it’s making contact with your skin. I did notice that once it heated up a bit it took longer to turn off, I’m guessing that’s due to the heat sensors. I had fun just playing with it touching it to see the vibration turn on and off to begin with. But still this mode is perfect for if someone comes to visit while you’re in the middle of playing. It turns right off as soon as you stop. I’ve never had a toy like this one. It’s perfect travel size to fit in your handbag.

I love rechargeable vibrators, them not needing batteries is always a big plus. The worst thing to happen in the middle of a session is for the batteries to run out, especially when you have none at home. The Magic Touch takes around 3 hours to charge and gives you around 2 hours play time depending on the setting you’re using. Once it’s charged you can clean it and put it back away in its drawstring bag.

It also has a normal hand operated mode where you can control the settings and it stays on. You turn this on by holding the on/off button for 1.5seconds.

There’s a total of 10 different speeds and rhythm controls to experiment with, ranging in intensity of vibration and style of vibration meaning so there is something to suit everyone.

It’s really quiet too so nobody in the next room will know what you are up to when you’re using it and if they happen to interrupt you, the touch mode will save the day by turning off the moment you stop.

The toy is also “Shower Safe,” meaning it can’t be fully submersed in water but it can handle a bit of a splash which is also great for washing it and keeping it clean.

It’s made out of “high grade smooth silicone,” which is smooth to touch, the toy itself being a bullet is hard so it’s not flexible but it’s only small so this isn’t much of a drawback.

I love all things pink and purple so I’m in love with the colour of this little beauty. I think it will be one of my main go to toys from now on. With so many new toys coming out it can be hard to choose one and if you have a tight budget it’s even harder but this is one toy that won’t break the bank.

The smooth point is perfect for targeting the areas that you’d want the most stimulation it’s the right size to reach the g-spot on the right angle. It’s probably not the best toy for internal use and definitely not for anal play, only for playing around the entrance as it doesn’t have a flared base it can be dangerous. I will cover that in another post later.

All things considered this is a great little toy, a big improvement on a regular style bullet and is the perfect size to use with your partner.

For people on a budget this toy is a must have. For under $50 you get hours of enjoyment. I think it’s a great little investment.

Magic Touch Sensor Bullet

Review of CalExotics Red Hot Flare

The red hot flare is a small silicone hypoallergenic vibrator with lots of good points. This small vibrator packs a punch for it’s size. The intensity of the vibration can be adjusted with 11settings.

This toy is one of three in the range that all have different shaped tips to give a slightly different ‘tickler’ vibration. This one has two rabbit ear like ticklers at the end, which is ideal for clitoral stimulation as it fits snugly around the clitoris. Being so small it can be used during sex without getting in the way too much, which to me is a big plus.

One of the great things about this toy is it’s rechargeable but because its so small the USB, but being small and giving such strong vibrations, the battery life doesn’t last for long periods of time so it can only be used for up to 30 minutes on high speed and 3 hours on low. So it must be recharged after use, if you want it to be ready for next time. To charge fully it takes 2 and a half hours.

The silicone bullet like tickler is perfect for arousing different erogenous zones not just your clitoris. Try tickling your nipples and running it around your vulva, perineum and anus. You may even be able to reach your G-spot with this little beauty.

Being waterproof you can use it in the shower or bath and can use as much lube as you like.

I think this toy is perfect for anyone with a limited budget like myself that’s looking for a toy they can continue to use over and over without needing batteries.

It’s also great for couples and for a vibrator you can pack away snugly in your bag when you go away, being so quiet nobody has to know a thing, it even has a “travel lock,” function to stop it going off in your bag unexpectedly.

  • Small compact size
  • Waterproof
  • Rechargeable
  • Strong vibration
  • Really quiet
  • Ticklers
  • 11 Different modes
  • Great price, Value for money
  • Made from high quality silicone
  • Hypoallergenic

  • Short battery life
  • You’ll find it hard to choose between the three types of vibrators in the range (not really a con, but I had to think of something.)

As you can see the pros far outweigh the con’s for this mini vibrating massager and the price is great at under $50 the hours of pleasure will be money well spent. If you decide to try it out, you won’t regret it.

I love my little pocket rocket it’s a red hot little flare!

Must Know Tips for Caring for Your Sex Toys (part 2)

Wicked “Cleene,” antibacterial, unscented sex toy cleaner.

To sum up some of the points made in the last post here is 6 must know basics of sex toy care and maintenance are;

  1. Not all toys are created equally and each has its own needs, different types of toys should be washed differently. Read the instructions for your toy for cleaning and storage instruction specific for the toy you are using.

  2. Use only water based lubricant when using toys and/or condoms

Silicone based lubricants quickly deteriorate the material condoms are made of (usually latex,) and can cause the material to break. Disgusting, I know. There’s many different problems and infections that can be caused by toys “down there.” So to put it mildly and briefly, over time silicone lube will ruin your toys much faster than water based lubricants, giving you much less time to get enjoy using it. Be safe and use water based lubricant. Once again check the guidelines written by the manufacturer as there may be some exceptions to the rule.

  3. Clean toys properly after every use and allow to dry before storing properly.

It seems as obvious as cleaning your toys but its extremely impirtant to store toys safely once they are clean and dry. Storing them in a box or bag somewhere dry, cool and safe is ideal. After washing and drying your toys be sure to put them away somewhere else safely. Using a special box for your toys is a great idea or even a drawer, ideally the box or drawer would have compartments to store each toy separately with its accessories like chargers and warranty paperwork etc. One way to keep toys safely separated in their box is using bags like cotton, silk, satin drawstring bags. They can be used to store each toy and put them all away safely out of harms way. This way they are looked after as they should be, giving them a longer life. It also means they are out of reach or children or sticky nosing mother in laws and guests. Storing toys in a dry area that’s not too hot or too cold and isn’t damp is best. You should have thoroughly cleaned your toy immediately after use and before putting away for next time. If you have children a high up cupboard or one with a lock can save you from embarrassment and having the talk you might not be ready for just yet. It also means that you have everything stored together for when you want to use it. You could even have one box or bag for near the bed and one hidden away for special occasions. Whatever the case storing sex toys well will help them last longer and prevent you getting any type of infection from them. It will also prevent mould or other micro organisms from growing them, this is more common than many people know or would like to think about.

  4. Only clean with a toy cleaner specifically made for the purpose or a warm soapy water. Be careful to wash each toy correctly, again check the instructions that come with your toy.

Use a special toy cleaner, such as Wicked Cleene, or if you need to wash your toys and have run out of specialty cleaner, carefully wash the toy with warm soapy water. If you are washing a vibrator make sure to avoid exposing the motor to any moisture and do not immerse it under water or you will destroy your toy. Many are water proof or resistant making using the toy more fun and cleaning them easier. Using soap and water should be enough to clean your toy. It’s been suggested to me that a hand soap isn’t a good choice but I would recommend a soap with antibacterial qualities. A basic detergent like what you use for hand washing dishes should suffice but make sure you rinse it off several times and dry the toy thoroughly before storing properly, ie in a bag or box in a cool dry place. Never use harsh cleaning agents or alcohol based cleaner on your toys.

  5. Don’t use a dishwasher to wash your sex toys.

Or harsh cleaners including alcohol based cleaners. Wash them carefully and gently by hand. The exception to this rule is glass or sterling silver toys such as but plugs or dildo’s which are non porous and don’t have any mechanical parts to worry about.

  6. If you wish to share toys you need to use protection, yep just like sex, do it safely.

Cover up any part of the toy that you or the other person will be touching. A condom is the best thing for the job or possibly a dental dam which is like a condom but for oral sex. (A dental dam is basically a square piece of latex is used as a barrier when performing oral sex on a woman, helping to prevent the spread of STI’s,) so use a dental dam or condom for sharing toys.

Many of these points seem to go with-out saying but if you’ve never been taught something, how can you be expected to know it? My aim here is to teach people the basics and beyond so there will eventually be information here to suit people at every stage of their journey. Safe sex is good sex and there can never be enough education around what is safe. Consent is another story. Without consent there should be no sex, yet another reason why sex toys can come in handy at times.

Dental Dam, Condoms and Water Based Lubricant

Side note condoms should still be used for men even if just giving them a head job. I know many people will protest this but trust me in the long term, as well as short term it’s much better for your health and theirs.

Must Know Tips to Care for Your Sex Toys, part one.

Toys can be great fun and also expensive. It goes without saying they need to be kept clean but often people don’t think about this or overlook the importance of caring for sex toys correctly.

One of the most important things you need to do is wash your toys after EVERY time you use them. Storing them correctly is important also. If you can keep them in a box in a cool dry area, not just thrown under the bed or in the sock drawer. If you don’t have a box or don’t want to buy one another storage solution, which is cheap and simple is to keep the box the toy came in. This way you have all the cleaning information and warranty info on hand if you need it too.

Another way to store toys is in bags like a silk or satin drawstring bags similar to the one in the picture, preferably not mesh but it’s better than nothing.

Keep your toys in a bag or box and clean them after every use.

Now, a word on cleaning toys. Different toys have different needs. Not all toys are made of the same materials or do the same thing, so it’s important to read the instructions when you buy your toys to be sure you know what the best method of cleaning is.

Using soap and water is usually OK but ideally you should use a special toy cleaner. A product such as “Wicked’s Cleene,” antibacterial toy cleaner will do the job properly keeping your toy clean. This keeps you safe from any nasties while caring for the material your toy is made from, giving it a longer life.

Jelly like rubber toys are particularly prone to damage and being porous they can harbour bacteria and other germs such as mould which can lead to infections. Silicone toys are non porous but still need special care, never use silicone based lubricants with silicone or other rubber toys, instead use water based lube.
Using silicone lubricant on sex toys will cause the material to break down, eventually the rubber will literally break down and crumble away, before that happens it will become suceptable to bacteria and germs growing in the now porous surface.

Silicone toys are specifically prone to this, the reason being that silicone bonds with silicone, so silicone based lubricants bonds to the silicone toy (or plastic or rubber that toys are made of,) causing them to deteriorate quickly, making the surface difficult to clean properly and making it vulnerable to various germs and micro organisms.
Once things like mould and other nasties start growing they continue to and this may not be visible to the human eye until the damage is so severe the toy will not only need to be thrown away but there may be other health related issues caused by the infected toy. This is the last kind of thing you want to think about when playing with your toys, so look after them.
Water based lubricant is recommended for use with latex, rubber and silicone so it’s best to use water based lube with toys and also with condoms which you should be using anyway.

Safe sex is good sex, this goes for toys too.

Keep them clean, dry and stored safely.

It seems obvious to wash your toys but many people don’t for whatever reason and just put them in the drawer after using them, or even on the floor. I can’t stress enough how important it is to not only wash but store toys properly, not only for your health but also for the toy to keep working properly that you care for them properly. After all your health is priceless and some toys are very expensive, you want to get as much use as possible from them.

So remember a few important basics about keeping your sex toys clean and happy for a longer life. These tips will also help should you ever need to claim on your warranty which most good quality toys give you a warranty for a fair period of time if they have been cared for properly.

Now you know the ins and outs of caring for your sex toys, go and have fun and enjoy them. Just remember to clean them after every use and store them properly and you’ll be having fun for a long time to come.

    RisqueViews Satisfyer Pro 2 Review

My first reaction when I saw the Satisfyer Pro 2 was, “what on earth do you do with that!?” It looks like some type of space age gizmo which you could say it kind of is. It’s unlike any other toy I have ever owned or even seen.

It hasn’t got a dildo or any part because it’s not intended for internal use. It doesn’t even have rabbit ear type tickler parts because the whole way the machine works is completely different to most sex toys.
I’ve heard the term non-contact vibrator used in another review of the Satisfyer Pro 2, which is partly true because the part it’s stimulating doesn’t get touched. It has removable, replaceable rubber ring type “nibs,” that are the part that makes contact with your skin. You sit the ring around the clitoris, that’s where the magic happens.
The way the machine works is with a suction function, this is one of the things that make it so unique.

While there is a suction part to the way it works the Satisfyer also vibrates and pulsates, that’s the best way I can explain it.

There’s 11 different modes which adjust the intensity and levels of pulsating vibrations and suction which occur all at once. The different settings range in intensity from a very light humming and slight suction to full blown buzzing and suckling modes. The rhythm of the pulsing also changes with the different level settings.

This toy is state of the art and a new innovation in sex toy manufacturing. There’s only one other machine on the market that I’ve hear is similar but I haven’t yet tried myself so I can’t comment.

Honestly, I found it a bit hard to get used to, as I’ve said it’s a unique toy. Once I figured out how to use it properly, I understood how it earned the name Satisfyer. I’ve heard some people find offensive. I think the name perfectly suits the machine.

After spending some time getting acquainted with my new toy I was left going “oh my gawd!” Repeatedly, and my body continued to twitch for a few moments. I felt extremely satisfied.

I suggest doing as I did and experimenting in a private space as it can be quite noisy, play around with settings, trying out different modes. Move it around slightly feeling how different positions may feel and use different levels of pressure pushing down softly and just holding it in place. This should give you a fairly good idea of what works for you.

When I first tried it I was using it with the handle facing towards me, I then read that it can fit nicely between your legs, which is apparently how it’S meant to be positioned. It’s worth trying out different ways as the feeling varies slightly between positions. The sensation varies even more when repostioning or moving the handle around and with different levels of pressure, try them all and you’ll find what works for you.
To begin with especially, experimenting with the Satisfyer Pro 2 was really important to get a feel for it and be able to use the toy to its fullest potential. You might like to try it out with your partner although be warned straight sex makes positioning the toy rather difficult so you might like to try it with other positions or toys for internal stimulation if you find that it’s necessary. I found on some occasions more stimulation was preferable but the Satisfyer alone did the job when I was relaxed and had some alone time to play around with it.

One of the great things about the Satisfyer Pro 2 is that it’s rechargeable so you won’t have to keep on buying batteries. It’s recommended you keep it charged up and clean using a toy cleaner such as “Wicked Cleene,” which you can find a short review for here. It’s really important to keep your toys clean. Remove the nib and clean it thoroughly not using any harsh cleaners, you can use a cotton bud to get in there and clean out the flange part gently.

All in all I recommend trying out the Satisfyer Pro 2, especially if like me you enjoy clitoral stimulation more than internal. That is one of the reasons I began and continue to use sex toys as I find achieving an orgasm through sex to be pretty close to impossible. Thanks to toys like the Satisfyer Pro 2 I can experience climax whenever I like, allowing me to enjoy sex without stressing about coming to climax because I know I can at any time I like. With a bit of time playing around the Satisfyer Pro 2, I definitely felt satisfied.

Update February 2018: I still love the Satisfyer Pro 2, it remains one of my favorite toys overall. I was hoping to review the new models but there’s been a bit of a hold up with getting it. I just wanted to add that it’s still going strong after some fairly aggressive use. It’s definitely one of my go to toys. I highly recommend the Satisfyer Pro 2.
